The United States men's basketball team defeated Spain 118-107 on Sunday to win the gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Kobe Bryant led the way for the United States with 20 points, while LeBron James added 19 points and 9 rebounds. Dwyane Wade also scored 19 points, and Chris Paul had 13 points and 13 assists.
For Spain, Pau Gasol led the way with 29 points and 8 rebounds. Rudy Fernandez added 22 points, and Juan Carlos Navarro had 21 points.
The United States led by just four points at halftime, but they pulled away in the second half to win by 11 points.
The gold medal is the United States' first in men's basketball since 2000. It is also the team's 14th gold medal in men's basketball, which is the most of any country.
