ERC Ingolstadt completes Goalie Trio with Devin Williams

Experienced Netminder Joins Panther

ERC Ingolstadt has signed American goaltender Devin Williams, completing their trio of netminders for the upcoming season. The 28-year-old, who most recently played for the Eisbären Regensburg in Germany's second-tier DEL2, is expected to provide a solid presence in goal for the Panthers.

Proven Performer

Williams, who stands 6'0" tall, has a proven track record of success in both North America and Europe. He spent several seasons in the ECHL, winning the Kelly Cup championship in 2019 with the Newfoundland Growlers. In the DEL2, he was a key contributor to Regensburg's success, posting a strong goals-against average and save percentage.

Competition and Depth

Williams' arrival in Ingolstadt creates a competitive environment in goal. He will join incumbent starter Michael Garteig and backup Timo Pielmeier, giving the Panthers a balanced and experienced trio of netminders. This depth will be crucial as Ingolstadt looks to navigate a challenging schedule in both the DEL and CHL.
